CSLB C-39 Roofing License
CSLB C-39 Licensed — Active. Verify at CSLB.ca.gov in 30 seconds. A C-39 is a specialty roofing license — not a general contractor trying to do roofing on the side.
General Liability Insurance
Certificate available on request before any work begins. If a contractor can’t produce a certificate of insurance within 24 hours, walk away. We can produce ours before we get off the phone.
Workers’ Compensation
Current. Active. If someone gets hurt on your roof and the contractor doesn’t have workers’ comp, that liability comes back to you as the homeowner. This is the credential most people forget to ask for.
GAF Certified Installer
Required to issue the GAF System Plus Warranty on shingle installations. Not every contractor can offer this. The certification requires documented installation volume and training — it’s not purchased.

We primarily serve Santa Ana and the surrounding areas including Garden Grove, Tustin, Orange, and Fountain Valley when the project fits our schedule. Why don’t you do overlays?
An overlay — installing new shingles over existing shingles without a tear-off — is legal in California under certain conditions, but it adds significant weight to your roof deck, traps moisture, and makes it impossible to inspect the decking for rot or soft spots. When the overlay eventually fails, the tear-off costs more because there are now two layers to remove. We do full tear-offs on every replacement job. It costs more upfront. It’s the right answer.
